7/24/2023 0 Comments Crunch locations staunton vaOne customer walks up to the window, knockes and both hostesses just stand there, shrugg, one returns to looking and her cell phone, the other looks down and avoids eye contact. The sound of thunder claps could be heard. At about 3:45 it starts to sprinkle and then rain. There is an waiting area inside the entrance door.Įnough room to hold all the people lined up and still have room. These customers are seniors 60, 70 and 80. few customers start lining up at approx 3:40pm outside. However, I have never witnessed such contempt or stupidity as I have last night with the hostesses. The food is great and wait staff is wonderful and go out of their way. Our meal was so good that we probably talked about it once we got back on the road for another half hour! Highly Recommended!! More Our server was wonderful (treated us to a taste of the restaurant's peppermint ice cream) and the service couldn't have been better, especially since we were traveling - we didn't have to wait for anything! Having been on the road for 5-1/2 hours, our dinner stop of just over an hour was a perfect change of pace to sitting in the car. And speaking of the fries, they were hot and crispy and stood up on their own. I ended up not eating much of the bun because I was getting full but the crabcake was just that - CRAB! Very little filler, just enough of some ingredients to enhance the flavor but the 'icing' on the crabcake was the Cilantro Citrus Mayo that was served on the side it tasted so good I was dipping my fries in it and I'm a fry purist (seasoned with salt). I thoroughly enjoyed The Middlebrook, a crabcake sandwich on a Kaiser bun with lettuce & tomato. The roll was perfect, the meat was prime rib for goodness sakes and was delicious. The salad my husband ordered to follow his gumbo was full of fresh ingredients and have the perfect amount of tasty bleu cheese dressing.įor our dinner, hubby selected The New Street, melt-in-your-mouth thinly sliced prime rib with sauteed onions and au jus dipping sauce. Bisque (amazingly creamy and full of flavor and shrimp!) and the Chicken Gumbo with Andouille Sausage (hubby enjoyed this very much). We stopped in at the Mill Street Grill on our journey home to NC from PA and it turned out to be an excellent choice - one we will make again on future trips back home to PA!
